Laying Loved Ones to Rest

We offer our Sincerest Sympathies to you and pray that they are in the Arms of our Loving God!

Use these resources to help with the details involved in planning funerals.

Historical Funeral Procession Banner

This banner was used for many years in the funeral processions from the church to the cemetery for Saint Stanislaus Parishioners. In Polish it reads: "Dobry Jezu, A Nasz Panie, Daj Im Wieczne Spoczywanie." Translated to English, it reads: "Good Jesus, and Our Lord, grant them eternal rest." It was misplaced for many years, and in the early 2000's, our pastor found it (along with two more historical processional banners and adoring angel statues for the tabernacle) in a padlocked closet that had almost been forgotten! Soli Deo Gloria!

Cemeteries

Each of our Parishes have Cemeteries where you can be laid to rest. Contact the Parish Office for information regarding our cemeteries.

Saint Stanislaus Cemetery

This is the Main Parish Cemetery of Saint Stanislaus Church. It is located across the street from the church. The cemetery is close enough to the church that we have a funeral procession to the cemetery on foot.

The cemetery is maintained by the Saint Stanislaus Cemetery Committee.

Contact Arnie and Janet Selinger for plot information at 320-630-4245

Sacred Heart Cemetery (South)

This is the Main Parish Cemetery of Sacred Heart Church. It is located south of the church on the south end of town. Contact the Parish Office for more information.

Sacred Heart Cemetery (East)

This is the old Parish Cemetery of Sacred Heart Church. It is located east of the church behind the church. Many years ago, records became difficult, so the Parish established a new cemetery south of the chuch.

Saint James Cemetery

This is the Main Parish Cemetery of Saint James Church. It is located south of the church by the railroad. It is maintained by the Cemetery Committee. Contact the Parish Office.
